This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your administration and customer service skills to support the diverse sections of theEnvironment and Planning Department, ensuring excellent service to both internal and external customers.

What You’ll Be Working On
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied customer and administrative support role. You will provide high level customer service, process online development application documents, prepare and distribute Local Planning Panel business papers. Prepare technical documents as well as tenders, business papers, general correspondence and online forms. Support multiple sections across the Environment and Planning Department.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Extensive administration experience(5+ years) with strong organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure in multi-functional environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, and relationship building with both internal and external customers.
Proven leadership and coordination capability, including managing work plans, training schedules, working independently when needed, and supporting team targets.
Strong technical proficiency and continuous improvement mindset, including proficient Microsoft 365 skills and experience in implementing process improvements.
In addition, it is desirable to have the following:

Previous experience in working in local government

Experience in using electronic document management systems

Appointed as a Justice of the Peace, or willingness to become appointed
