The role
The Customer Experience Officer Leisure & Aquatics provides a high-quality customer experience to all centre users in line with Council’s organisational values and the Canterbury Bankstown Leisure & Aquatic Services Customer Service Charter.
This permanent role supports reception, customer enquiries, transactions, bookings, kiosk operations and general customer service across the centre environment.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
· Deliver customer experience in line with the Leisure & Aquatics Customer Service Charter.
· Process cash transactions, reconciliations, customer enquiries and feedback professionally and accurately.
· Maintain clean, organised and safe reception, kiosk and customer service areas.
· Support kiosk operations, including food handling, serving, stock presentation and stocktakes.
· Promote and sell products and services, including converting membership enquiries into sales.
· Manage centre bookings, support opening and closing duties and participate in relevant training.

You will have:
· Apply First Aid and CPR certificates.
· Current Working with Children Check.
· Current Food Handling certficate if required
· Enthusiasm, initiative and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
· Flexibility to work across facilities and operating hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
· Proven experience delivering high-quality customer experience in a public customer service area.
· Excellent written, telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
· Cash handling experience, Point of Sale, PC literacy and administration skills.
· Experience in the sales, management and stocktake of kiosk items and retail accessories.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $62,026, Grade B, Step 1 + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
