About the role
Council is seeking an experienced and energetic Better Business Partnership (BBP) Program Coordinator to lead one of Sydney's most successful business sustainability programs.
Working collaboratively across Ku-ring-gai, Willoughby and North Sydney Councils, you'll coordinate innovative initiatives that help businesses reduce their environmental impact while strengthening local economies. From delivering high-profile events and marketing campaigns to building strategic partnerships and leading a dedicated team, this is an opportunity to make a measurable difference across an entire region.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and coordinate the Better Business Partnership program across Ku-ring-gai, Willoughby and North Sydney Councils
- Deliver innovative sustainability initiatives, events and business engagement programs that create lasting environmental impact
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with businesses, partner councils, government agencies and industry stakeholders
- Lead the BBP team and oversee program delivery, marketing, communications and digital engagement
- Manage program budgets, grants, contractors and performance reporting to ensure successful outcomes
- Champion the Better Business Partnership as its key representative, promoting the program through networking, stakeholder engagement and media opportunities
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Experience designing and delivering sustainability, environmental or business engagement programs
- Proven ability to lead projects, coordinate multiple priorities and deliver successful events and initiatives
- Strong relationship-building skills with experience engaging businesses, government and diverse stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills, with experience creating engaging marketing and digital content
- Confident managing budgets, grants, contractors and program reporting to achieve measurable outcomes
- A collaborative and proactive leader with relevant qualifications (or equivalent experience) and a current Class C driver's licence
