Bookings & Events Officer – SEC
- Permanent / Full Time
- Salary: $71,228 - $80,059 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
- 35 hours per week (Monday to Sunday) with the option of flexitime

About the Role
Join the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre and help deliver outstanding events while maximising venue bookings and revenue opportunities. Reporting to the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre Manager, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to coordinate successful events from enquiry through to delivery. This includes:
- Coordinating venue bookings from initial enquiry through to event delivery, including quotations, contracts and client support.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for community and commercial hirers, providing advice on venue capabilities and services.
- Identifying revenue opportunities by promoting and upselling services such as ticketing, catering, technical support, marketing and return bookings.
- Coordinating event information and ensuring the timely and accurate communication of requirements to internal teams.
- Providing guidance and support to the Bookings and Events Assistant to ensure the efficient operation of bookings and event administration.

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Qualification in Business Administration (or substantial relevant experience)
- A minimum of four (4) years' experience in a hospitality, entertainment, or facility's administrative role.
- Experience of working in a high occupancy multi-purpose venue with teams including customer service, box office, marketing, technical, front of house, operations and catering staff.
- Experience in procurement processes, both accounts payable and receivable.
- Proven track record in staff management, including coaching performance development and day-to-day supervision of administrative and customer service staff.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or the right to work in Australia (visa).
