Title: Works Coordinator - North, Permanent - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week - Hybrid/onsite (3 days per week onsite)

Salary Range: $101751.32 to $118251.57 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

This position includes a private use vehicle.

The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit provides a range of maintenance and delivery relating to road assets, traffic management and street lighting; and infrastructure related to parking system assets. It provides timely and accurate advice and users better practice methods and procedures while developing new and innovative solutions to problems in a cost effective and environmentally sustainable manner.

 

The Transport & Civil Infrastructure Business Unit delivers the following services:

•    Maintenance & Construction of Civil Infrastructure
•    Traffic and Transport Planning
•    Asset Management & Planning
•    Community Transport, Parking, Fleet and Stores
•    Business Operations 

The Works Coordinator, North is responsible for the supervision, coordination and management of council’s teams undertaking construction and maintenance activities on Councils Civil Infrastructure Assets.

Our opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include: 
1)    Coordinate a team of supervisors to lead maintenance teams undertaking work on Councils Civil Assets including footpaths, roads, drainage and associated infrastructure. This includes planning and resource management of the civil maintenance crews that report to this position. 
2)    Maintain WHS and Quality standards across maintenance teams ensuring compliance to statutory requirements. 
3)    Develop processes or systems to assist business unit in achieving operational requirements in efficient manner. 

About you :
We’re looking for a Works Coordinator to join our dedicated Construction & Maintenance Team. A Works Coordinator (North) will be recruited and will manage civil maintenance crews in designated areas across the Northern Beaches Peninsula. The position descriptions for these roles is provided below. You’ll bring strong leadership and management experience of civil or construction crews. The Coordinator will drive the planning, scheduling and delivery of repairs to civil infrastructure assets in accordance with approved budgets.
