The Package: This position is employed under the LG (State) Award with a Total Remuneration Package (TRP) starting at $166,202 inclusive of a vehicle allowance and 11% superannuation + 3.5% civil liability allowance (if applicable). There are also guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26.

Full-time35 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.                  

Are you a leader in asset management and looking for a new challenge? We have created a new leadership role that has Executive’s full support to reimagine and reimplement our organisational approach to Asset Management and make changes to improve Council’s Asset Management Capability.

In this role you will:

  • Shape the future of Council’s Asset Framework and manage QPRC’s transition to a more strategic asset planning approach.
  • Improve Council’s asset management and performance, comprising of process, people, plans, data and analytics.
  • Work with asset owners across Council to improve asset performance.
  • Build an engaged and high performing team of asset management professionals.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent communication skills to transition our organisation to a more strategic asset planning approach.
  • Is passionate about implementing asset management strategies to improve Council’s ability to provide affordable infrastructure across generations of customers.
  • Has experience in asset management and data analysis relevant to Local Government and knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management Standards.

They will join Council during an exciting period of significant economic development with major projects being planned and delivered across the Queanbeyan-Palerang region.
