Description

The Package: $1,190.13 - $1,315.04 gross per week + 11% super. (Evaluated as Grade 6 of the QPRC Salary System 2023) and guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full-time – 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.

In this role you will:

  • Carry out day-to-day operations of bushland management in order to improve, restore and maintain natural assets.
  • Use mowers, flails, spray units as well as small plant; snippers and brush cutters.
  • Be involved with minor parks and construction maintenance.
  • Drive/operate, maintain and service Council’s plant.
  • Aid in the revegetation and restoration of QPRC’s natural assets, including experience interacting with the public, including engagement with volunteers.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management (or equivalent) and experience in a similar role.
  • Possess a NSW General Construction Induction Card
  • Able to communicate effectively both oral and written form.
  • Posses and maintain a current class C Drivers licence.
  • Constructively contribute to organisational and team outcomes.
