What You Will Be Working On

As the Information Management Officer, you'll contribute to delivering a professional, efficient, and high-quality information management service. Your responsibilities will be:

  • Undertaking daily duties such as processing, scanning, tracking, and distributing all incoming, outgoing, and internal correspondence, ensuring accurate recording, classification and storage for easy retrieval.
  • Assisting in designated management and maintenance tasks in the City’s central electronic document management system in accordance with established standard.
  • Assisting the delivery of group and individual training to staff on the City’s central electronic document management system and effective record-keeping practices.
  • Maintaining the City’s archival management and inactive physical document storage program in compliance with approved retention and disposal schedules.

About You

  • Required qualifications in Records & Information Management, Archives Management, or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of Recordkeeping Legislation, Standards, and Practices.
  • Familiarity with Western Australian record-keeping requirements and the functions of the State Records Office.
  • Highly developed level of computer literacy using a range of software systems including the Microsoft suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional and EDRMS equal or similar to Content Manager (CM) or Technology One Enterprise Content Manager.
