As Coordinator Major Asset Maintenance, you’ll ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of key sites—including the Bankstown Civic Tower Precinct, Council’s operational depots, and the soon-to-be-constructed Campsie Hub. You’ll drive both planned and reactive maintenance programs, making a tangible impact on Council’s essential assets.

  • Coordinate both programmed and reactive maintenance, working closely with planning teams to manage a wide range of building systems, plant, and equipment.
  • Ensure full statutory compliance and oversee security and access control systems, maintaining safe, secure, and well-managed facilities.
  • Oversee carpark operations, including patrolling, monitoring, and enforcement, while coordinating with external authorities as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing procedures, managing budgets, and preparing reports, correspondence, and responses to issues.
  • Lead and support fit-out projects across leased spaces, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • In collaboration with the Maintenance Planning team, contribute to the preparation of appropriate reporting that supports a proactive approach to plant and equipment and building upgrades, as well as capital works planning across the portfolio of assets.
