The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a strategic and collaborative leader to oversee water supply and sewer assets, drive business development initiatives, develop strategic business plans and financial models, and coordinate resources to deliver maintenance programs and capital works outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management of water supply and sewer assets.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and practical experience in long-term financial planning and the development of financial models.
- Lead staff to achieve asset management and strategic business plan objectives.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Degree-level qualification in engineering, science or relevant related discipline, and has advanced knowledge of the NSW Government Regulatory environment associated with water supply and sewerage.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge and practical experience in long-term financial planning and the development of financial models.
- High-level demonstrated leadership and management of mid-sized teams of people and contract staff.
- Sound understanding of contract management and project management principals.
- Well-developed skills in the interpretation of engineering plans, specifications and quality systems.
Benefits
This is a fixed term, full time position working 35 hours per week for a period of twelve (12) months.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $157,248.88 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $2,618.20 per week base salary
- $314.18 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
- $91.64 per week Civil Liability Allowance (calculated at 3.5% of base salary)
