The Role

Reporting
to the Coordinator Transport Operations, you will assist with team supervision
and undertake construction and maintenance activities and projects in
accordance with Council's operations program.

About You

You will have
team supervisory skills and experience and the ability to lead a team to ensure construction and maintenance activities
are undertaken and completed in accordance with Council's operations
program. You will thrive in
a team environment and be able motivate team members to perform efficiently whilst
in a safe manner, ensuring WHS guidelines are followed.

Essential Criteria

  • Certificate level qualifications in a related
    field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in construction and
    maintenance field
  • Experience leading and supervising operational
    staff
  • Ability to determine project requirements, including
    ability to interpret plans and execute work instructions
  • Demonstrated experience in work management
    systems, planning processes and work prioritisation
  • Professional verbal and written communication
    skills
  • Physically capable/ fit to undertake the
    manual handling required in the role
  • Valid Class MR Licence
  • The right to live and work in Australia
  • WHS General Construction Work in NSW
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Successful applicants will be required to
    undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
