Kiosk/Service Assistant – Casual
Connecting people, culture, and knowledge
Help shape the customer experience across Blacktown City’s aquatic and leisure centres at Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre Emerton and Riverstone Swimming Centre. Blacktown City is a leader in sport, recreation and leisure, delivering programs and services that support an active and connected community.
As a Kiosk/Service Assistant, you are often the first person customers meet. You greet visitors, answer enquiries, process memberships and bookings, record attendance, handle payments and provide information about learn to swim programs, centre activities and facility services. You prepare food and refreshments, sell merchandise, complete stocktakes, enter data and support the day to day operation of reception and kiosk areas.
You help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment by cleaning shared spaces, monitoring food handling requirements, maintaining stock levels and supporting the smooth operation of the centre. Your work helps ensure customers have a positive experience every time they visit.
This casual role offers shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. You receive ongoing training and support to build your skills in a team environment. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people from all backgrounds, communicates clearly, has experience handling cash and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
- a casual role with one of Australia's largest councils
- an entry level salary commencing at $31.0232 per hour, plus 25% casual loading
- trainee rates apply for applicants under 19 years of age
