Team Coordinator – Civil Maintenance
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Coordinator to lead the delivery of maintenance works across Council’s civil infrastructure network within the Works & Services team.
In this hands‑on leadership role, you will coordinate maintenance programs for roads, drainage and pathways, provide operational leadership to teams, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You will also manage resources, respond to community needs and drive continuous improvement across civil operations.
In this role, you will;
- Coordinate the delivery of maintenance and reactive works across roads, drainage, pathways and civil assets
- Lead and support operational teams, fostering a positive team culture, performance and support development
- Plan works and allocate staff, plant and resources to deliver quality, efficient and cost‑effective outcomes
- Monitor and manage works programs, including scheduling, performance and delivery outcomes
About you:You are an experienced civil professional with strong leadership capability and a proactive approach to service delivery. You bring the ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic operational environment.
You will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or equivalent experience coordinating civil maintenance or construction works
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing staff
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience managing budgets, estimating works and cost control
- Knowledge of construction practices, documentation and legislative requirements
- A strong commitment to WHS and quality standards
- Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence; White Card and Safework NSW Traffic Control Work Training (TCR, IMP, PWZ) or gain within probationary period

- Permanent full time, 38 hours per week with the opportunity to work a 9 day fortnight or a 4 day compressed week (based on operational requirements)
- Commencing salary range from $92,894 - $98,580 per annum (based on qualifications, skills and experience)
