As a Supply Officer, you’ll be part of the Supply Team, supporting the day-to-day operation of Council’s supply store. This is a practical, people-focused role where your ability to provide excellent customer service, particularly through face-to-face interactions, will be central to your success. You’ll assist customers with materials, services and information, helping them access what they need in a professional, friendly and efficient way.
Your work will also include receiving, issuing, delivering and storing materials, completing stock-related tasks, stock takes and safely operating equipment such as vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic trolleys. You’ll support internal mail and material deliveries, contribute to store security and work closely with your team to deliver safe, reliable and responsive supply services.
Accuracy and administration are also important parts of the role. You’ll use warehouse management systems and computer applications to maintain records, receipt and reconcile goods and support the smooth flow of materials through the store.

Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering helpful, practical and reliable customer service. You’ll be confident communicating in person, over the phone and in writing, with a positive approach to supporting customers and working cooperatively as part of a team.
You’ll bring experience in warehousing activities such as picking, selecting, receipting, stocktaking and issuing materials, along with the ability to safely undertake manual handling and operate relevant plant and equipment. You’ll also be comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems such as SAP, Authority or Oracle to complete accurate records and system requirements. You will also require the following:
- Transport and Logistics Certificate II or equivalent experience or qualifications in a relevant discipline such as warehousing
- Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment;
- Demonstrated sound literacy, numeracy, oral and written communication skills;
- Class C Driver’s licence; and
- SafeWork Forklift Licence

- Competitive salary from $61,740 - $71,751 a year plus 12% superannuation
- Adverse working conditions allowance per hour
- Enterprise Agreement increase in July 2026
- 35-hour working week, with the option to work your hours across four days per week as part of a flexible work trial. The additional day off would be a fixed day agreed with the team and aligned to operational requirements.
