About the Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Organisational Learning Officer within our People and Wellbeing Team.  In this role, you will be responsible to develop, implement, evaluate and review organisational development programs using contemporary training and development practices to enhance the effectiveness of Council’s employees at all levels of the organisation.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in relevant field such as Adult Education, Human Resource Management, Business Management, and/or extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, development and delivery of learning and development programs to a multidisciplinary organisation, including facilitating workshops.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of corporate leadership frameworks and enhancing leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting training needs analysis and making subsequent recommendations to leadership.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing Learning Management Systems, including development of e-learning content.
  • Financial coordination of the Organisational Development Budget, in consultation with the Manager of People and Culture.
