About The Role

As the Senior Contracts Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective contract management across various departments. Your expertise will guide the Procurement & Contracts team and support internal stakeholders in navigating the contract management framework. You will be responsible for monitoring the implementation and utilisation of the contract management framework, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic advice throughout the contract lifecycle.

In this position, you will also champion continuous improvement initiatives that align with the Council's commitment to service excellence and community engagement.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about contract management.

  • Tertiary qualification in contract law, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and monitoring contract management frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and an in depth understanding of the contract management lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with contract management software and supplier relationship management.

The ideal candidate will possess analytical, planning, and organisational skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with government procurement regulations and experience in local, state, or federal government settings will be advantageous.

  • Package:$111,776 - $124,574 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
  • Hours of work:Permanent Full Time.You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
