How you’ll make an impact

As Property Coordinator, you will be responsible for
the strategic coordination and management of Council’s property portfolio and
oversee a diverse range of functions including property acquisitions and
disposals, leasing and licensing, land registers, and compliance with the Local
Government Act 1993
.

This is a specialist professional role suited to an
experienced property practitioner who can manage complex land dealings with
contributing to long-term planning, project delivery, and stakeholder
engagement. In addition to managing Council’s Crown Land and Native Title
responsibilities, you will provide expert advice on land and property matters
and drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.

Working closely with our Director Planning and Growth, you
will also support the delivery of Council’s Recreation Strategy and associated
Masterplans and act as our primary liaison for community user groups, sporting
clubs and facility hirers across recreation and sporting facilities.

This position offers an attractive salary ranging from $70,179 to $89,835 gross
per annum, plus superannuation (12 per cent), with commencing salary dependant
on qualifications, skills, qualifications and experience.

What you’ll bring to our team

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Formal qualifications in Property Management,
    Law, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in property-related
    dealings, such as sales, leasing, valuation and/or property management.
  • Demonstrated
    experience in project management, including budget, risk, change and resource
    management.
  • Advanced
    digital literacy, including high-level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
    (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and the ability to confidently use a
    variety of software products and business systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of
    customer service to internal and external customers, including a proven ability
    to solve problems and identify alternative solutions that satisfy a range of
    legislative requirements and policies and procedures.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
    with the ability to balance competing workloads and deliver within deadlines,
    while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    and demonstrated ability to address a broad range of issues, resolve problems
    practically and sensitively, and exercise sound judgement in complex
    situations.
