About the role
The Baldivis Indoor Sports Complex (BISC), located on Eighty Road in Baldivis, is the City of Rockingham’s newest leisure facility and committed to providing excellent customer service to all patrons during every visit. BISC accommodates sports such as basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, indoor and indoor soccer, and hosts a range of other wellness programs.
Primarily based at BISC you will assist in the delivery of various programs within the City’s leisure facilities. This will include customer service, maintaining program equipment in a safe working order, setup of programs, cleaning and assisting in the cafe as required. Hours may be rostered from Monday to Sunday, 5am to 10pm. From time to time you may also be required to work in other City leisure facilities including Aqua Jetty, Mike Barnett Sports Complex and Rockingham Aquatic Centre.
To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:
- Familiarity of leisure facility operations and programs
- An understanding of the rules of programmed sports
- Customer service experience and conflict resolutions skills
- Current Provide First Aid qualification
- Current Working with Children check (or ability to obtain)
What we offer
The hourly rate for this position is as follows:
$27.60 per hour, plus superannuation
