Our highly skilled Communications and Marketing team provides communications, engagement and marketing support and advice, that promotes Council's activities, services and projects.

About the role:

We’re seeking an experienced and Marketing Officer, Digital to join our highly productive team. This position will be responsible for the preparing and implementing creative marketing campaigns and concepts to promote a range of activities, services and projects, and being a champion for our brand.

We are looking for a creative whiz that has experience in a range of digital platforms and tools, including social media, websites, analytics and Google platforms. 

The successful candidates will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

•  Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Design, Communications, Digital Media or associated field, and/or extensive relevant job-related experience.
• Experience in developing content and campaigns for online, digital, multimedia and social media channels.
• Demonstrated experience providing creative briefs.
• Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to write copy to appeal to a range of audiences
• Well-developed organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Current Class C driver’s licence
• Commitment to role modelling our values of respect, integrity, trust, teamwork and optimism.
