Description

  • Play a key role in ensuring that the City's Civil Infrastructure Assets are maintained to an excellent standard.

About the role

As a Maintenance Inspector Roads, you will undertake regular inspections of the City's Civil Infrastructure Assets and use your expertise to identify and record defects requiring maintenance, as well as nominate an appropriate restoration method. You will be competent in operating Asset management and GIS mapping software and ensuring that Asset records remain current, relevant and easily accessible to appropriate stakeholders.

About you?

  • Certificate IV in Civil Construction or other relevant qualification
  • Demonstrated practical experience in the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure assets such as roads, footpaths, kerb and gutter, drainage and bridges
  • Demonstrated experience in the use and operation of asset management systems and software related to GIS and GPS
  • Ability to work independently and undertake frequent solo travel within the Local Government Area, whilst also being part of a large team.
