The role:
Join our Water & Sewer team as a Liquid Trade Waste Officer and play an important role in protecting our community’s water and wastewater systems.
In this dynamic role, you’ll help manage and improve Council’s liquid trade waste, backflow prevention and water carting programs. No two days will be the same — from conducting inspections and reviewing applications to working with customers and maintaining key data and compliance records, you’ll be at the centre of ensuring our services meet legislative requirements and industry standards.

- A salary range from $1322.30 to $1481.00 per 35 hour week (based on relevant skills and experience) + 12% superannuation

What we need from you:
- Certificate III Trade Qualification in Plumbing or Certificate IV in Water Industry.
- Completion of the Liquid Trade Waste Regulation qualification.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the installation and maintenance of liquid trade waste systems, including separators, arrestors and associated infrastructure.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply the NSW Plumbing and Drainage Act, National Plumbing Code, and relevant regulations and standards.
- Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance.
