Leisure Attendant – North (Lifeguard, LTS, Fitness Instructor)

• Various casual positions
• $36 - $40 per hour plus 12% Super
• Shifts rostered Monday to Sunday including Public Holidays
• Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre, Bomaderry Aquatic Centre, Nowra Aquatic Park and various Northern Village Pools.

About the Roles
We are looking for casual team members to promote a fun, fit and healthy lifestyle for our growing community. Our casual leisure attendant's cover a range of roles which is dependent on the qualification and experience you hold (you can be appointed to perform one or more of the below roles). If you are enthusiastic, have great customer service skills and are committed to providing a safe environment for our community to enjoy, we want to hear from you!

Lifeguard

• Current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award or ability to complete Pool Lifeguard Licensing requirements (within 21 days of commencing duties)
• Current nationally recognised accredited First Aid Award

Learn to Swim

• Current AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving Society Australia or Swimming Australia Certificate - Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety (or equivalent)
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award (CPR) or current RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award

Aquatics Instructor - Coach

• Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association accreditation bronze, silver, gold, or platinum
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award (CPR) or RLSSA Pool Lifeguard Award

Fitness Instructor (Wet & Dry) / Gym Attendant

• Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor) and current accreditation with Fitness Australia) or the ability to obtain within three (3) months of commencement or hold a current Yoga Instructor Certificate.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Award (CPR)
• Previous experience / training in Group Fitness instruction
• Current nationally recognised accredited First Aid Award

This position requires a current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC). Applicants are required to apply and pay for this check if not already obtained. Applicants under the age of 18 will not require a WWCC.

Applicants who progress to pre-employment checks may be required to undergo a Working with Children Check Verification, Qualification Check, Work Rights Verification, Reference Checks and Medical (Medium Risk). Employment is subject to satisfactory outcomes for all required checks.
