Council is seeking a motivated person to undertake the role of Leading Hand Maintenance Urban Roads and Infrastructure. This position is based in our Engineering Services Directorate.

The position is responsible for providing daily supervision, support and assistance in leading a day-to-day crew carry out construction/maintenance duties associated with urban roads and drainage, assets, construction projects and maintenance activities under the supervision of the Urban Infrastructure Works Supervisor.

This position is based in Warialda, but will be required to travel across the Shire area.

It is a permanent full time position, working 38 hours per week and a 9 day fortnight.

This position is classified as Grade 6, Band 2, Level 2, Entry in Council's competency-based salary system with an hourly payrate starting from $37.04.
