About the role

As Infrastructure Delivery Manager – Programs, you will manage a diverse portfolio of works across all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and design coordination through to construction, commissioning, and final handover. Acting as a key interface between Council, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure strong governance, transparent reporting, and the delivery of high-quality infrastructure outcomes for the community.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the delivery of Council’s capital works program
  • Manage end-to-end project and contract delivery across the project lifecycle
  • Oversee procurement, tendering processes and contractor performance
  • Monitor and control budgets, forecasting and program reporting
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, legislative and technical standards
  • Engage stakeholders and support effective asset handover and outcomes

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field, OR demonstrated equivalent experience with ongoing professional development
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence and White Card required
  • Demonstrated experience delivering capital works projects or programs within a local government environment
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including contract administration, project supervision, and contractor/consultant performance management
  • Experience preparing estimates, developing specifications, and managing tender and EOI processes in accordance with procurement frameworks and legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage budgets, oversee project financials, and produce clear project, progress, and Council reports.
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation, standards and codes, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
