Environmental Compliance Officer

We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused Environmental Compliance Officer to investigate, monitor and enforce environmental, public health and development compliance matters across the local government area.
In this diverse role, you'll conduct inspections, provide expert advice, respond to community concerns and work closely with residents, businesses and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation while promoting a safe, healthy and sustainable community.
YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)
- A commencing annual salary between $102,726 - $115,612 dependent upon skills and experience (inclusive of 12% superannuation)
- Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 35-hour working week
- Flexible and hybrid working arrangements under Council’s Flex First Procedure including access to an individualised hours agreement
- Access to 2 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative where unused
- Access to 1 week MyLeave per year, to be utilised for any purpose
- Access to long service leave after 5 years of employment
