Council opened its doors to a 403 seat, state of the art proscenium arch theatre in the heart of Goulburn’s CBD in March 2022. The Goulburn Performing Arts Centre has won national and international architecture awards and is attracting world class performances enjoyed by audiences, both local and regional, and from across the state.

Step behind the scenes and bring performances to life at Goulburn Performing Arts Centre. As the Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical production and back-of-house operations, supporting a diverse range of events from community performances to professional productions. Working closely with producers, performers, and hirers, you’ll help ensure every show runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standard.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • A commencing annual salary of $76,623 with progression up to $86,244 dependent upon skills and experience, plus 12% superannuation
  • Work an open spread of hours on a rostered basis and includes after hours, weekend and public holiday work, based on a 35-hour working week
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements under Council’s Flex First Procedure including access to an individualised hour agreement
  • Access to 2 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative where unused
  • Access to 1 week MyLeave per year, to be utilised for any purpose
  • Access to long service leave after 5 years of employment
