Our Development Engineering Division is on the lookout for a highly motivated professional with a robust technical background in design, testing, and development processes. We’re looking for someone eager to join a team that offers a wealth of opportunities to advance your career. If you possess strong project management skills and excel in collaborative, cross-functional team environments, we want to hear from you!

The Development Engineer is responsible for:

• Undertaking development assessment processes to ensure the timely provision of accurate assessment of subdivisions and developments in regard to water and sewerage, drainage and transport requirements including development conditions, headworks contributions, technical advice, compliant engineering plans and various certificates;
• Undertaking the inspection, testing and approval of civil construction works for subdivisions and developments including negotiation and resolution of issues with consultants and contractors; and
• Responding to water, sewer, drainage and transport enquiries related to subdivision and development matters.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications acceptable for Membership to Engineers Australia;
• WHS General Induction for Construction Work
• White Card
• Drivers Licence

Salary range: Grade 19 - $112,011.74 - $121,200.39 per annum plus 12% superannuation, 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance and leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
