Wagga Wagga City Council is one of the largest inland regional cities in NSW and currently has outstanding opportunities available for candidates with exceptional operational, drafting and design skills to join the organisation.

The opportunities:

  • Senior Design Engineers
  • Graduate Design Engineer

We are seeking candidates with tertiary qualifications in engineering, civil engineering or environment, you will have experience managing projects, being part of the design and development of sustainable and resilient infrastructure, solving complex challenges and taking charge of civil/design engineering projects.

You will work closely with key stakeholders, including across Council Directorates, business partners and the Wagga Wagga community to develop effective relationships that support an efficient delivery of the Council’s project commitments.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental or similar.
  • General Construction Induction Training Card.
  • Class C Driver’s Licence.
  • Experience in managing and delivering a portfolio of projects.
  • A passion for engineering excellence and a track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project demands.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication ability, ensuring collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
