We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our fun and dynamic team! We are seeking an experienced and professional Coordinator with a passion for customer service.
About the role:
This is a leadership role for a passionate, people-focused professional who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for the community.
As Coordinator Customer Service, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a customer-first culture across the organisation, leading and inspiring a dedicated team to deliver consistent, high-quality service across all interactions.
With a new Byford Customer Service Centre opening in June, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, community-focused team in the heart of Byford, as well as enjoying the country feel at our existing Mundijong Customer Service Centre.
You will coach and develop staff, ensuring they feel supported, empowered and equipped to respond to customer needs with professionalism, empathy and efficiency.
Working at the heart of the organisation, you will strengthen the systems, processes and partnerships that underpin service delivery, overseeing key platforms and contracts while driving continuous improvement.
Through collaboration with service teams, you will promote accountability and embed the Shire's Customer Service Charter, ensuring a seamless and responsive experience for customers and positioning the organisation as a trusted, community-focused service provider.
Our preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate the following experiences and skillset:
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, drive positive cultural change, manage performance, and influence staff to deliver exceptional customer service outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and optimising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including the ability to analyse customer data, identify trends and insights, and use this information to drive continuous improvement in customer service performance and outcomes.
- Proven ability to effectively engage, influence and build strong relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in a coordinator role or in a comparable leadership position.
