  • Are you an experienced building surveyor/certifier, land use planner or compliance officer?

About the role

The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a professional with relevant building and development compliance experience to provide compliance and enforcement oversight of public and private land use to benefit residents and visitors of the LGA.

This role will see the successful candidate collaborate with the Team Leader Building and Development Compliance to assist in the delivery of business needs and priorities, support the identification, implementation, and championing of business service systems.

About you?

  • Degree in Urban & Regional Planning, Urban & Environmental Planning, Building Surveying or similar, or equivalent demonstrated substantive experience in building, planning or a suitably related discipline
  • Relevant industry experience with demonstrated skills and knowledge in building or development compliance, investigation, and evidence gathering
  • The ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders across multiple platforms.

  • Starting salary from $92K + Superannuation
  • Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
