We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to step into a rewarding leadership role at our service. As our Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader, you’ll be at the heart of creating a vibrant, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where children feel confident, curious, and empowered to thrive.

In this role, you’ll mentor and inspire a team of educators, bring innovative child-centred learning experiences to life, and champion best practice in early childhood education. You’ll foster a culture of wellbeing, reflective practice, and continuous improvement, while ensuring our service maintains the highest standards of quality, compliance, and care.

About the opportunity:

  • Permanent Full Time Position – 38 hours per week
  • Competitive salary from $93,580 per annum + 12% superannuation

The position is engaged on a permanent full-time basis, operating within NSW school terms. During school holiday periods, the successful applicant will undertake planning, programming, governance, and professional development activities to support the ongoing quality and success of the service.

The successful applicant will succeed in this position by meeting the following criteria:

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrated Experience as an on the floor Early Childhood Teacher with ability to lead educational practice, support educators, implement the Early Years Learning Framework, and foster positive outcomes for children.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing educators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with families, educators, staff members and other key stakeholders

Essential Qualifications, licences and tickets

  • Hold an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching Qualification, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood setting
  • Ability to meet the requirements of registration as Nominated Supervisor with the NSW Early Learning Commission.
  • Current approved First Aid Qualification that includes Asthma and Anaphylaxis management
  • Current Working with Children Clearance and National Police Record Check
