- Salary commencing from $89,981 per annum + 12% Superannuation
- 35-hour week

About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists to join our Digital Innovations, Information and Technology team as an IT Helpdesk Lead.
Reporting to the Team Leader Information Technology, you will lead the Helpdesk function and drive customer service excellence in the delivery of first-level IT support across Council. You will oversee support for desktop hardware and software, mobile devices, corporate networks, and business systems, ensuring reliable and responsive technology services for staff across the organisation.
To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience and a Certificate III, IV or Diploma in an IT related field.
- Demonstrated capability to manage a small team environment by coordinating daily helpdesk operations, monitoring progress, and supporting performance outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to show imitative and innovation when investigating, analysing and solving problems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a resource constrained environment, thereby demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate, influence and negotiate.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and improve the service level provided by a first level information technology support function.
- Ability to complete ongoing planning involving complexity to ensure effective contribution to work programs.
