The Role:

As the Work Health & Safety Officer, you'll collaborate with the Coordinator Integrated Risk Management to develop, implement, monitor, and review WHS systems and processes. Your primary focus will be to enhance safety culture, reduce risks and injuries, and elevate awareness of WHS throughout the organization.

Essential Criteria

  1. Certificate IV in WHS and/or relevant experience in a WHS field
  2. Demonstrated experience in WHS monitoring in an outdoor and/or mechanical trade environment.
  3. The ability to develop reports, policies and/or procedures of sufficient quality for consideration by Executive level management.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice.
  5. Demonstrated high attention to detail and ability to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently and to deadlines.
  6. Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment.
  8. Demonstrated intermediate level of experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and in-house data bases.
  9. Current Drivers Licence (Class C)
