An opportunity has become available to join the City of Darwin’s Waste Services team as a Weighbridge Officer in a permanent part time capacity.

City of Darwin has a deep commitment to sustainability and the environment for our future generations. Shoal Bay Waste Management Facility is the home of City of Darwin’s waste and recycling management facility and our renewable energy facility.

This position will provide efficient weighbridge operation for the facility, maintain traffic flow and communication across the site and offer support in key administration tasks for the Waste Services Team Leader and other business units.

The successful applicant will be integral part of a small diverse team that ensures all waste received at Shoal Bay is compliant with our licence conditions while meeting all the City of Darwin expectations regarding policies and procedures. The team is dynamic and love to have a good laugh therefore this role would be suitable for someone that has a great sense of humour!

Your hard work will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package and generous leave entitlements. This position has a pro-rated base salary of $66,408.43 per annum plus 11% superannuation.
