We are looking for an experiencedWeb Application Specialistto join our team and play a key role in the administration, enhancement and ongoing support of Council's Digital Experience Platform (DXP), intranet and associated digital applications.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Web Application Specialist, you'll manage and enhance Council's digital platforms, including our website, intranet and online services. You'll ensure our digital systems are secure, accessible and high-performing, while providing technical support, managing vendor relationships, resolving issues and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll help deliver innovative digital solutions that create better experiences for both staff and the community.Along with this, you will be responsible for supporting and optimising Council's digital ecosystem, including customer-facing websites, online services and internal collaboration platforms.

You'll bring:
Essential Experience
- Experience supporting and administering enterprise IT or information management systems.
- Experience with Digital Experience Platforms, Content Management Systems or intranet solutions such asSquiz DXP,Microsoft SharePointor similar platforms.
- Experience supporting web applications, online forms, booking systems and integrated business applications.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards, includingWCAGrequirements and best practices.
- Experience working within ITIL-based service, incident, problem and change management frameworks.
- Experience managing external vendors and SaaS-based service arrangements.
- Experience integrating cloud-based applications and enterprise systems.
Technical Skills
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge ofHTML, CSS, JavaScriptand contemporary scripting or automation technologies.
- Understanding of web security, cybersecurity principles and identity management.
- Strong understanding of user experience and digital service delivery.
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Management, Digital Technologies or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
Desirable
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Experience administering or developing withinSquiz DXP.
- Experience working within local government or a public-sector environment.

- Package:$97,609 to $103,469 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work: Working 35 hours per week. You will have the option of a 19 day month with Council's ADO system (Accrued Day Off).
