Salary: $70,980.84 – 77,546.16 + Super

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Waste Service Operative to work in our Household Mattress/Metal Collection Team. Monday – Thursday 5am – 14:30pm, located at out Council Operation Centre. This section of the Council is responsible for the removal of Household curb side Mattress/Metal collections.
You will have demonstrated experience working as part of a team and knowledge of work, Health and Safety (WHS) practices, the principle of Eual Employment Opportunity (EEO), Ethical practice and multicultural diversity. Manual handling skills are also required, and the successful applicant must have a flexible attitude towards responsibilities and hours of work.
ABOUT YOU
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential areas:
- HR Drivers Licence
- General Construction WHS (White Card)
- Implement Traffic control and Implement Traffic control plans tickets (or Willing obtaining them)
- Demonstrated truck driving experience
- Experience in waste removal
