Urban Planner – Full Time

  • Salary: $76,446 – $89,065 per annum
  • Up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • Ref No: 24-026

An exciting opportunity is available to join our Planning Approvals team as an Urban Planner. We are a friendly and fun team committed to facilitating high quality and environmentally sensitive development that will shape the City’s future.

You will participate in a broad range of land use planning activities with a key focus on the assessment of development and subdivision applications. This is a great opportunity to increase your urban planning knowledge within a supportive team environment.

Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:

  • Sound knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the preparation, assessment and processing of development applications, subdivision applications and subdivision clearances.
  • High level of experience and ability to interpret planning legislation and documents, Local Laws, information sheets, policies and procedures.
  • High level of negotiation, decision making, analytical and research skills.
