Coordinator Place Activation – Full Time – Fixed Term 5 years

  • Salary: $108,505 - $115,479 per annum
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • Fixed contract up to 5 years

Place Activation in the City of Joondalup will play a key role in the development of the Joondalup City Centre, along with other key activity centres, enabling a vibrant hub for economic activity and community engagement.

The City is seeking an experienced Place Activation professional to co-ordinate and lead the delivery of the Joondalup Place Activation Strategy and the Joondalup City Centre Place Activation Plan.  This position will play a key role in developing strategic initiatives and the implementation of projects and initiatives to activate our key places.

The growth and vibrancy of the Joondalup City Centre is a strategic priority for the City of Joondalup. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about place activation, place making and positive leadership.

  • Experience in identifying, developing and delivering programs to create place activation in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in working with and managing stakeholder relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Considerable project management, time management and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
