Salary
$123,885 to $137,360 per annum (inclusive of a vehicle allowance) plus superannuation. Salary is based on 70 hours per fortnight, with a 9 day fortnight.
Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience
In addition, Civil Liability Allowance may be paid depending on qualifications

About the role
You will be responsible for providing high quality professional advice on sustainable transport planning and modelling, with an ability to think strategically and work collaboratively. The role will require developing movement and place outcomes to achieve vibrant and connected places for people. The position will manage new Branch initiatives such as paid parking and the development of an Active Transport Strategy as well as the development and successful delivery of transport planning projects, and the overarching Integrated Transport Strategy.
About you
In your new role you will need recognised tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or other relevant discipline and knowledge in multi-model transport planning. We are seeking a good communicator who can provide an essential link between the Branches and Divisions for key integrated land use planning purposes and strategic transport advice. You will be able to manage and analyse complex and sensitive transport matters for the Division Director. Your engagement skills will be essential to facilitating the input of a wide range of stakeholders and managing expectations.
