Description
The Transfer Station Labourer plays a key role in maintaining Council’s Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Depot to a high operational and safety standard.
In this hands-on role, you will carry out general labouring duties, support resource recovery, operate plant and equipment, and provide excellent customer service by directing site users safely and efficiently. You will also contribute to a clean, safe, and compliant facility while following all WHS requirements.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and is eager to learn. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum six months of relevant work experience in waste management or a similar field.
- Be able to recover recyclable materials from disposed items, in accordance with procedures and safety requirements
- Have strong physical capability to perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Have a strong commitment to Work, Health and Safety
- Have a current High Risk Work License - Forklift Truck (LF) and NSW Drivers License – Class C

- Permanent full time, 38 hours per week with the opportunity to work a 9 day fortnight
- Commencing salary range from $58,042 - $64,083 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
