Purpose the role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to support our Early Childhood Education Centres. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow their career in early education and care! Gain a nationally recognised qualification while working alongside qualified educators and learning the essential skills needed within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and programs.
  • Support children in their daily routines, including meals and playtime.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children.
  • Observe and document children’s progress and development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members from a range of cultures, backgrounds, experiences, and situations.
  • Work in line with the National Quality Framework and National Early Education and Care regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A candidate who identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted by the community they identify with.
  • No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and team-work skills.

Salary: $827 per week (18yo or completed HSC) + 12% superannuation

Applicants may be required to satisfactorily undertake a Criminal History Check, Medical and/or Working with Children check in accordance with the position.
