Trades Labourer

 

  • Salary $56,748.34 to $65,809.54 p/a + super
  • 38 hours per week/9 day fortnight

Located 16 km’s north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments.

 

About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader Trades, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Construction of paving, concreting, pathways, stairs, retaining walls, garden beds, edging
  • Installation of playgrounds, irrigation, seats, tables, benches, bins, tree guards, shelters, barbeques, sculptures, plaques, fences, gates, bollards, mulch, plantings and turf
  • Maintenance/repair of built features
  • General horticultural maintenance including: litter pickup, mulching, pruning, turf maintenance, weeding, fertilising, cultivating, watering, tree/shrub removal, planting
  • Playground and park furniture repairs and maintenance

 

Required experience & skills:

  • Construction Induction (White Card) or willingness to undertake
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake
  • Class C Driver’s Licence and willingness to acquire MR Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in Landscape, Horticultural or Building Trade maintenance
