Supervisor Parks Maintenance

 

  • Salary $88,557.35 to $102,727.05 p/a + super
  • 38 hours per week/9 day fortnight
  • Leaseback Vehicle Offered

Located 16 km’s north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments.

 

About the role

Reporting to the Coordinator Open Space Services, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the operations of Parks Maintenance staff with a proactive approach to the environment
  • Investigate service requests from the public and determine an appropriate course of action
  • Monitor reactive maintenance requests to ensure that they are allocated to the relevant work teams/ contractors and completed to the specified standards within the required timeframes
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance programs are developed and successfully implemented

 

Qualifications, skills & experience

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Horticulture
  • Current Class C Driver’s licence
  • Traffic Control Certificates (Implement Traffic Control Plans & Traffic Controller) or willing to undertake training
  • WHS Whitecard
  • Experience in a similar role in local government, including direct staff supervision
  • Demonstrated experience in horticulture operational maintenance
