Working with the Manager, Works Roads and team who will mentor you through the day to day requirements of the job, such as:

Delivering minor works projects, including budget management, the overseeing and procurement of contractors to ensure Councils standards, policies and procedures are adhered to.

Providing supervision and support to the Works Technical Assistant and or Roads Administration Staff with all aspects of Roads administrative duties to enable excellent customer service and to meet target turnaround times.

To evaluate and process road related permits such as Land Access Activity Notices and National Heavy Vehicle Regulator Permits

What You can offer

You are looking for the opportunity to make use of your current experience,

- Minimum three years’ experience in Civil Construction or related industry

- Comprehensive skills in managing small construction/maintenance projects using contractors

- Strong working ability to assess situations and determine solutions

The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $3,151.80 - $3,547.00 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $81,946 - $92,222 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
