Title: Team Leader, Gardens, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week

Salary Range: $74,312.80 to $86,363.83 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Parks & Open Space is responsible for areas and facilities that add to the community’s enjoyment of Council developed spaces, to encourage and provide for passive and active reactional needs.  Parks & Open Space includes the following functions:-

• Recreation planning and management
• Reserves and commercial centres maintenance
• Sporting fields
• Tree management
•  Asset planning and management
• Business support and management

Our opportunity :
The key focus areas of this role include: 

1. Actively lead staff and contractors maintaining Open Space Reserves & Sports field Garden and vegetated Assets safely and efficiently to approved service levels
2. Deliver high volume workloads with competing priorities
3. Effectively Supervise a Team with varied skills and experience

About you :
We’re looking for a strong People Leader with demonstrated experience maintaining open space assets. You’ll bring a strong history in Parks & Open Space service delivery and a drive to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
