Student Accountant
- Fulltime contract up to 18 months
- Salary commencing from $1895.40 per fortnight plus 11.5% Super

The Financial Services team with the City Governance portfolio plays a key role in supporting all levels of Council along with maintaining a high level of corporate governance through best practice, legislation and policy. The key areas within Financial Services are:
- Finance & Tax – financial statements, grants reporting, investments & loans, payment of Councils suppliers and taxation
- Management & Systems – budgeting, assets, fleet and financial planning
- Revenue – rates, receivables, debt management and Council’s name and address register

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Currently undertaking a bachelor degree in Accounting and in penultimate (2nd last) or final year of study
- Demonstrated team working experience
- Commitment to role modelling our values of Respect, Integrity, Optimism and Teamwork
