Title: Street Sweeping Service Coordinator, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week
Salary Range: $98787.69 to $114807.35 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Waste Management & Cleansing Business Unit provides a range of services relating to cleansing, waste, and resource recovery, including collection services as well as being the key point of contact for the management of Kimbriki. It provides accurate and timely advice and uses better practice methods and procedures while developing new and innovative solutions.
The Waste Management & Cleansing Business Unit will deliver the following services:
- Cleansing
- Waste and Resource Recovery
- Education
- Litterbin Services

Our Opportunity:
The key focus areas of this role include:
• Lead the team on a strategic and day-to-day basis to ensure high performance, a strong team culture and compliance with WHS requirements
• Oversee the team’s operations to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient cleansing services which meet required standards and legal requirements
• Identify and implement process improvements ensuring the provision of best practice service delivery
• Be responsible for the management of costs associated with the operation of the team, including managing costs related to purchasing and overtime, and assist Manager, Public Waste & Cleansing in meeting the business unit’s budgetary target
• Build and strengthen partnerships with internal and external stakeholders enhancing collaboration and driving results
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations regarding waste transport and disposal
• This position is eligible for 9-day fortnight roster
About you:
We’re looking for a Suitably Qualified Candidate to join our Public Waste & Cleansing Services team. You’ll bring experience and skillset relevant to a role in Public Place Cleansing to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
Experience and knowledge in managing a similar service function are highly desirable.

- Interview will include two stages. First stage will be a face-to-face based session. Successful candidates that passed the first interview will progress to the second stage, which will include a practical session operating a Council owned street sweeper (make of the vehicle and date will be notified to candidate following successful completion of Stage One)
