- $59,474.81 - $69,703.27 + 11.5% Super + 9 Day Fortnight
- Rostered working hours 3:04am - 12:00pm Monday to Friday

Your Position:
Reporting to the Team Leader Waste and Street Cleansing, you will be responsible for operating a medium-rigid street sweeper vehicle and supporting a range of waste and cleansing tasks.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-
- Safely operating a truck-mounted street sweeper to clear streets, kerbs, and car parks of debris and litter.
- Performing regular inspections and minor maintenance of the vehicle, including daily checks of fuel, oil, and water.
- Supporting streetscape cleaning, including emptying and cleaning litter bins and removing illegally dumped rubbish.
- Assisting with drainage maintenance using vehicle vacuum attachments.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in work sites.
- Participating in toolbox discussions and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and heavy vehicle requirements.
To be successful in this role you will have:-
- A current Class MR Driver's Licence.
- A White Card (general construction induction card).
- Experience driving medium rigid vehicles and maintaining plant equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and meet schedules.
- Basic technological skills for recording data and using smartphones or tablets.
- An understanding of EEO, WHS, and cultural diversity principles.
Key Requirements:
- COVID 19 vaccination (2 Vaccines)
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment health assessment
- Current Class MR Driver's Licence
- A White Card (general construction induction card)
- Local Government work experience an advantage
