About the role

This position is a permanent full-time role in the Water and Sewerage team, based at the Moruya Sewage Treatment Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of sewage treatment facilities ensuring the protection of public and environmental health.

The starting salary for this position is $2,478.00 per fortnight plus 11.5% superannuation.

About you

The successful applicant will work well in a team, be hard-working with experience in Water Operations and industry-relevant certification/s. Your interest, strong communication and self-motivated approach will be a standout and contribute to your overall success and job satisfaction.   • Cert III in Water Operations (or equivalent).
  • Wastewater Treatment Operations certificate (or a willingness/ability to obtain with Council’s assistance).
  • Water and/or sewer operations, maintenance and/or construction experience.

  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
