About the Role
This position is responsible for undertaking manual tasks using hand tools and the operation of small plant items, for the minor construction and/or maintenance of assets. This includes:
- Roads and road related infrastructure including drainage, kerb & gutter, bus shelters, footpaths, cycleways, parking areas, traffic facilities and bridges. Boat ramps, seawalls, jettys and flood mitigation assets
- Recreational facilities, parks and reserves, walking tracks and viewing platforms.
- Providing urgent works in response to emergencies within our community

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Experience working in civil construction and/or maintenance activities
- Class C Drivers Licence
- General Construction Induction Card (white card)
- Right to work in Australia
We are looking for someone who with the ability to work safely on a wide range of projects and deliver quality workmanship, either working independently or as part of a team.
